Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop and implement a self-leadership convergence education program, and to evaluate the effectiveness of the program in order to induce elementary school students’ creativity and internal motivation using multiple intelligence teaching and learning strategies. The subjects of this study were 11 students who attend two local children's centers in Daejeon with 3rd grade∼6th grade. The date of the class was from November 21 to December 16, 2019. The method of this study was a questionnaire and interview method. The questionnaire survey was conducted on 29 questions including self-leadership (14 questions), creativity (10 questions), internal motivation (5 questions), and class satisfaction (10 questions). Interviews were conducted for students who showed outliers during class activities And feelings and thoughts were asked about the program and activities after the last class. As a result of this study, the developed self-leadership convergence education program using multiple intelligence consists of 16 learning materials in a total of 10 periods of classes and activity sheets. In addition, as a result of the evaluation after the program, the self-leadership test(0.59 points), the creativity test(0.4 points), the internal motivation test(0.54 points) was improved. And the self-leadership and creativity seemed to improve in the interview with elementary school students participating in the class. And concludes that this program is effective in improving self-leadership, creativity, and internal motivation.
