Abstract

In order to cultivate future convergence talents, convergence education centered on SW education should be implemented not only in information curriculum or software education but also in various education programs. This study aims to developed a Software(SW) teachers’ training program using physical computing for convergence education and analyzed the effectiveness by applying it to various major teachers. As a results, SW education teaching efficacy of teachers post-test result(3.61) statistically significant increased((t=-4.341, p<.001) compared to the pre-test result(2.99). Furthermore, the attitude toward SW training using physical computing for convergence education post-test result(4.371) statistically significant increased(t=2.287, P< .05) compared to the pre-test result(3.971). These results demonstrated that the teachers’ training program that we developed in this study positively affects the SW education teaching efficacy of teachers and positively changed the attitude toward the SW education using physical computing in the convergence education.
