Abstract
This study was conducted to find out what the value and limitations of convergence education in pre-service teachers´ education. The subjects of this study were the ´Convergence education for creativity´ courses and their students in the second semester 2015. 47 pre-service teachers have been signed this course by free choice. The lecture was conducted with three professors 5 weeks, the researchers were responsible for the last five weeks. The applied content as convergence activity was ´Mystery Boxes´. This activity was one of London Science Museum´s in-service teacher training program in the U.K. The results were as follows. Through the convergence experiences including that activity, pre-service teachers were to extend the conception of the convergence and convergence education. They expanded the conception of the convergence and convergence education in various aspects, such as the emergence background, goals, principles and methods. In addition, they were understanding of the convergence and convergence education through the convergence experiences and the confidence in education was formed on the basis of this understanding. But still they should develop the concept of convergence and convergence education. And it was difficult convergence activities based on science and engineering. Therefore, it was required the development of various areas´ educational content and convergence program.
